Last night, I went to emain after a few days of training. I got slightly bored and tired after a while and was running in the open with two orange mages at the entrance to Drum Cruachon. When suddenly I see my target name popup as a red norseman, so I knew straight away I was being shot at, so I kept running, saw the direction of the arrow and turned away from it. Took a second arrow and it dropped me to no visible health, but I had made it out of range, and he wasn't going to chase me. So I stealthed. Of course, I have see hidden, so I had him targetted. I let my Regeneration 2 start to do its work while I circle around into the trees opposite from him, yellow out a warning to the mages as to where he was. I watched him shoot and kill the one mage (..... was just killed by Divious), and then watched as he dispatched the second. But, the mages had hurt him... He had just under half his health left. And me now on around a third.
So I follow him as he ran, and at first I thought he popped over the hill. I cursed my luck, but kept going. There he was, sitting "inside" the hill with his legs and top half of his torso sticking out. I Figure, what the hell, he has his bow in his hand, so he'll have to change weapons before hitting me. That means I can get a PA/CD at least, and with poisons, I may be able to take him.
I hit 3 (PA). You kill Divious. <cheers> <dances> 450-470 on PA, + bleed, + poison. Bye bye you evil Norseman. Oneshot. 987rps. Sad though, as this just shows that see hidden is too powerful, when a 43rd season infiltrator can track down a 50th season hunter. Oh well.
