PvP has calmed down?

I've noticied that there are way less players now on the test server, and I don't see too many of them Random Pk'ers anymore, except in the towns... where all the stupid level >10's are PK'ing... getting no XP or RP for their kills..only money which they loose 2 secs later anyway.

It's actually fun playing now, going for those level 30+ guys when you are level 12-18 yourself, gather some friends and you will get very nice RP, cash, and XP!

Anyway, it's not this crazy PK'ing going on, the ones who are a bit more "serious" are still playing, which has given the server a better feeling... i.e when you do /y, to call for help...people help you instead of finnishing you off

I think this is what will happen later on real PvP, it will chaotic in the start, the first weeks..then it will cool down and the serious people will stay... the lamers will get on the KOS list of every guild, and then they will be killed till they find it boring!

Anyway....Good Game to you who still are playing on test server

The way it's calmed down now, is the way it will calm down after release. Not even a fraction of the people play anymore.


I like the 'Deathmatch' atmosphere myself. I kill anyone I can while I'm running around. Forming a group in Prydwen keep and nuking anything that moves is entertaining for a while.

But having to constantly watch your back and asking people who PM you if they speak english... all gets boring after a while.


I may have a caster or two, to XP kill groups when I'm bored. But I doubt I'll play there seriously.

Now it's almost worse. On your way to camelot to train you get raped by a full group of purples, the challenge must be astounding.
One thing is for sure, there will always be people on the PvP server with absolutely no sense... sure some say that it is a PvP server. But if I was one of the top level people and was in a group... I would not attack lone greys that pass by. Pointless really... no exp and the cash is nothing to you... sigh.

Ofcourse there still are those lame people who kill the grey cons without reward..just for the "fun" of it... But it's still better now imo

On the plus side for all you keen on PvP servers the US servers the populations of them are down to half of that on the "normal" servers meaning you can meet even more keen people...

well judging from this thread i MIGHT have a go at it when its released, but im not going to put up with 1337 people, i swear ill crash em by spamming them continously if they keep running upto me yelling how 1337 they are...

reason ppl aint playing is that they are soon releasing the real server and there is no point in playing the test
