I have to say that since most people on here went on Dagon Server, which is a PvE server - the issue of not actually being able to get on to a PvP mini game since Sunday (when i started trying) is somewhat worrying.

I appreciate fully that the game hasn't even been fully released yet, never the less however i would of expected at least one mini game pvp (considering i constantly have the option to join a game on) since Sunday.

I only get to play during peak hours as well (19:00 GMT - 00:00 GMT). So i can't even blame it on the time i'm playing. I asked in guild chat yesterday and was told someone has actually managed to get a mini game - so as far as i'm aware there isn't a bug with it.

I've tried a variaity of settings, changing to capture the skull etc and on different maps (they need to include a 'Any Map' option onthat i reckon also).

If anyone had any luck on this let me know if there's something i've missed that i may be doing wrong.

Hopefully it's just me being silly and not taking into account server population and the fact the game isn't even released yet.

think it was me who said i played. Only played once as i wanted to carry on leveling but it was a 5v5, red team vs blue team and basically just had to kill each other and kill their totem. Was fun tbh, at the end it shows how many kills / deaths you got, and im proud to say i was at the top of the kills =)

Same worries as Maasu, I'll play from 8pm CET today and be flagged all the time for a mini game.

Atm I think people are busy levelling and not so keen on the PvP minigame thing. Remember that it probably also searches for people in your level range..

Several issues I suppose:

only a fraction of people in your level bracket
only a fraction of people interested in PvP instead of gaining levels
only a fraction of the possible server population active ATM

All this is gonna be fixed in a few weeks when retail-game-buyers hit endgame and funcom implemented the "I ll go anywhere to mini-PvP button" or the option of queueing in multiple mini-games simultaneously.

I have faith. AoC was developed with a strong focus on PvP, so I assume most people that play/will play AoC are gonna be interested in PvP as well.

In beta at least, I have played minigames as a lvl 41 with lvl 25 ppl. The game changes the the lowbie players to the same lvl of the highest player for hitting, missing, dmg ratios purposes. But, doesnt take into consideration that a higher lvl player will have more feats and access to more and powerfull spells/combos....

Was that during the last stage of the beta or all the time? I didnt play much PvP in beta, but never encountered that big differences in levels...

Then maybe it was part of their PvP-madness programme?

For all that dont know, during the last couple of days, all servers became PvP-servers and everyone that had the highest open-beta-level of 13 was lifted to 20.

I thought for the last couple of days before EA closed and open beta population got merged into the new PvPservers. I havent played during that time, so I can be wrong.

Nope, closed beta servers were completly separated from the fileplanet beta. They also became "Test Live" servers to avoid using the same term "beta".
