Splashing out on an upgrade soon, as I don't think my current computer will cut it in Bioshock and ET: Quake Wars at 1920x1200. So what do people think of the following:

Intel C2D 4300 (and overclock the f**k out of it)
Asus P5N-E SLI NF650i SLi mobo
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 640MB (boy is it cheap on OCUK Atm!)
Zalman CNPS9700-NT nVidia Tritium Super Aero Flower Cooler (good cooler, and looks nice)
Team Xtreem 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-8000C5
620W Corsair HX PSU (as I'll probably be flogging my Seasonic with the old bits)
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64Bit (for later, once it's a lot more supported)

Exisiting bit's I'll keep:

150Gb Raptor
300Gb Maxtor Maxline
SB X-Fi music
Nec DVD writer
DVD Drive
Antec P180 case

Comes to about £950 inc delivery.

Whats the specs on the 4300 c2d?

When I bought my c2d, people on the overclockers forum posted a lot of problems oc'ing with Asus boards, maybe worth having a read and seeing if another board may give you less issues.

The 4300 is a 1.8GHz processor with a 800MHz FSB. The high multiplier on it (compared to the 6300) means it tends to clock as well as a 6300, but at much lower FSB, straining memory less (although I'll probably run that asynchronously and get as much performance from that as possible).

The Asus is the first retail nforce 650i board, and it's getting rave reviews for overclocking, plus it's darn cheap!
