PUG 'Tool' XD

Luz and Penlid of NFD have been working on producing a 'Tool'(1) that will allow people who are interested in forming PUG's to be able to plan them ahead. The result is the 'Pick up group List' tool on our forums. The link is at the top of the main page under 'PUG List'. The link to our forums is as follows:

We need more people who are willing to play in PUG's on a regular basis to come along and sign up so we can start to get it working. If we can get a critical mass hopefully the PUG Tool can be tested properly and then people can begin to organise them much more easily.

I would like to point out that you will have to register on our forums to sign up to the Tool. Please do so it could be worth it - besides you can use our chat box which rocks!

The idea is quite a nifty one for those of us who like to plan ahead and any feedback would be really useful.

How do people feel about this?

I do think it could work, though atm you need to look at a few things (that you are probably already working on but i'll still state 'm here )

Its currently possible to add characters without being logged in. It just adds it under a general user and when i look at 'my characters' I also see all the characters of fellow gimps that added their character without logging in (or registrating for that matter )

Working out the edit / delete for you own characters.

Maybe add a filters for stuff mlpath for a class. For example its a bit silly to see: Yeyi, the ml10 banelord mentalist.

hm, maybe add a login to site (for lazy ppl like me that log straight on the pugform section).

Maybe add an overview on what dates a pug is trying to run. So you can see date / time and the ppl that are signed on it. maybe add the possibility that ppl can sign up to a created pug like that.

The tool would also work for say PvE raids wouldn't it?

Thanks for the feedback Frozen, will talk to Luz later about it and im sure he will get to work on it asap.

However the login feature will be fixed asap, it's already implemented just not functioning as it should.

Editing your characters and being able to change your database entry is already under process.

And for the others im sure they'll be sorted with time.

Thanks frozen, didn't actually realize anyone used it at all

I will get to work on it as soon as I get some time to fix it up in shape.
