PSP 3000 / PSP Go

I want one, really do. When im chilling just wack it out and smash a few games in, led in bed, in the bath, chilling etc etc.

I heard the PSP Go you can't get games, so it's all download content. What's the content like? I've read a few reviews and dunno how dated one was but it mentioned 'minis' for them. Cheaper games, how are they?

Is it possible to buy a PSP boxed game such as final fantasy, god of war etc and transfer them to your Go, but also have the disc. Paying £25 for a download is steeeeep.

I've never had one, or anything Sony other than my PS3. And i love it! I've started buying older games such as COD4/5 etc just to add to the stack.

I want to do the same for the PSP. The Go looks sexy compared to the 3000. But cba if i have to fuck about buying things over the internet and not having a box with a disc etc.

You can't transfer a UMD game to the Go.

I think the hardware is great. If I never had a PSP already, I'd probably get the Go. I always play my games off memstick as it is. Obviously if you don't like downloading everything, then don't get one.

Most psp games are a bag of wank, the psp GO is pointless.

Get yourself a cheapo second hand psp and a couple of 4 gig memory cards and download some ps1 games. final fantasy 7 and 8 are around £8 with FF9 coming soon. You can pick up psp UMD games for a couple of quid on ebay, along with a few decent films.

Don't forget that you can use your PS3 to download PSP games from PSN.
You can also use your PSP as remote for the PS3.

PSN has a number of PS1 games for the PSP.

Yeah, thats where I get mine from. I did look into modding my PSP with Pandora, in the meantime I bought a PS3 so decided to leave it as the 2 can work quite well together, as far as I know if you mod your PsP it won't work with the PS3.

If it was between a PSP Go or a PSP 3000 i would buy a Nintendo DS

I would buy a DS if I had any interest in the games on it. I'm mildly interested in the Advance Wars games, but that's about it.

The "3D DS" is certainly on my radar, though.

I just want a new gadget tbh. Ipod touches don't really interest me unless it was a phone. It'd be like carrying two phones.

Something to play games on, browse the web, facebook (including chat), films i can put on via computer. etc etc etc. Rep for somebody who helps. Fix my urge for something new.
