lol speeedy, the way you tell that story makes it look like you took us all on single handedly...

As on a real battlefield sometimes honour and respect comes from weird situations so when I saw an enemy(Jamies) being attacked by another mutual enemy's guards I figured hell why not? I was helping Jamies deal with 2 patrols and the ns was involved as well, the NS and I were on 5% hits while jamies who had tanked his way through 4 orange cons had no end/ip/any champ power left. You came at just the rite time mate to wipe us out...

hehe he has a tendency to do that... me and Karash was in sauvage and i got impatient and started running around unstealthed, and that ugly patrol jumped me too.. so i stood there fighting red con Knight Commander while karash holds off the scouts.. and speedy (think it was him, 90% sure of it, may just have been some other gimp) comes at me prolly thinking "hrhr easy rps" he comes at me stunning and dd'ing.., and he ends up getting his ass whooped

As for Jamies Vs SF, i got my hopes for Jamies winning

champs and paladins are like both the best duellers in the game

my money on soulfly tho because of some of these facts:

SC > epic
3melee relics > none
lots of RAs
also think paladins have the edge with their chants over a champ , figthing ooe vs a paladin s/s isnt very fun

Paladins need a nerfbat imo if any tank. Zerks could probably take them on prior to nerf since they get bonus vs shield users using dualwield.

Personally having a hardtime killing even low realmlvl ones these days. Giving end regen to a tank class is like mythics normal moves, brainless.

Getting kicked by higher ranked ones are of course expected and accepted. And yes I know I am not supposed to kick tanks but... but... /cry

Paladins where fun to try on before, now they are just boring. Happy if I manage to kill a rr3 pally these days. 2handed weapon vs blockmachines = thesux

And Soulfly, he was impossible before they got some loving. Cant imagine anyone beating him now. But I wish you luck Jamie.

Minstrels > Paladins if i dont kill one I am always close apart from rr6+ :/ not bad for a class wearing chain and crap dmg. If you don't believe me /duel

Amusing Challenge: Lets see Champ in epic, vs a full mp plate sc'ed Paladin.

Heres what will happen:

Fight begins champ uses debuffs and dd's Pallie will ignore them.. yawn oh no debuffed.

champ swings away with his ikkle sickle, hardly tickling the pallie who got his af buff up and toggling between end and af chant, and any other chant he feels like. pallie swings away chop chop chop.. oh no he slammed me.. yawn.. wow amazing he's dd'ed me a few more times i'm on 40% life..

end chant .. engage... toggle to heal and back when needed full.. life.. you bored yet stoopid champ.

Chop chop.. damn this champs good.. yawn ok I'm bored slam him myself.. champ down low on hp.. pallie still has IP/FH and as much healing and end as he want..

One v One no tank unless clever wil beat a paladin and having kill Jamie numerous times with my sb.. to think he can take a Pallie he's nuts.

Concerning Champ / Paladin duel

When I was RR3 I was fooling around in Emain wearing cloth robe and staff trying to get a SB or NS to jump me. Not much action to see until I took a spin at mmg, all of sudden this RR9 Champ stuns me from behind (wasn't really looking) and takes me down to 40% before I'm able to properly equip myself...I had to use FH then he had to IP it was a long fight but in the end I remained standing with about 30% Hps or something...

Go figure.
