Can u create a net config using the SOCOM disc?
Not looked at this version, but if you can create a save using socom, you should be able to use the same save on the NAD disc.
Also, the standby/reset button may have a 6 second delay, due to the network adaptor/ HDD saftey feature.

I got asked by a mate who works for Sony If I wanted to join, I said no since I didn't want to run network cable down my stairs

I was being a tard as it happens

As it happens it is damn hard to aim with the ps2 pad.. and it appears SOCOM will not work with USB keyboard/mice so that no one has an unfair advantage.

I got mine as well, I played two 11round games of SOCOM and got bored. The controller is painful to use like it was when I played MOH:Frontline. I've ordered a Linksys Wireless bridge that will allow me to use wireless from my PS2.

I was trying to think how could I do it wirelessly but I forget about these types of adapters. Too used to APs and PCMCIA cards. £75 is a bit steap still to say the AP of the same manufacture is the same price.

My kit arrived yesterday. No problems setting up through my router. I've only played 1 round of Socom so not formed an opinion yet. I did kill someone though

Well I got the rest of the kit today. Twisted metal black is fun but the controls are still shit it just doesn't feel like you have any control of the car.

But it was still pretty good playing deathmatch stylee against 8 others

Yeah TMB was quite good, I'm quite enjoying Socom as well. I like the idea of limited use of the microphone.

socom is ok for a while, doesnt work too well imo with the joypad, but thats always going to be a problem

TM:B isa bit dissapointing i thought, the controls are poo and it just doesnt feel 'right'

i've been mostly playing thps4 on some american servers with a bunch of 14 year olds. its quite a lot of fun.
