I for one am happy that people are coming back. Server numbers are up is a good thing. We will hopefully start populating more than one zone.

Christ people are "Mr-the-glass-is-half-empty"...

The servers has been dead as disco for quite some time and people whined about that....now that people return and when we will have very active RvR people whine also?!

From what Ive seen so far it seems all will become strong sides...

Excal hibs are a bit pushed back and will benefit from Pryd hibs
Pryd mids are middle-strong and I think Excal mids are about the same
Pryd albs middle-strong gets Excal albs that seem very strong...or at least many... :p

Sure hibs looks like they will get 3rd place but hibs usually are nasty as hell anyway.

It means Ghost Eye (or close to) in celtic language :(

Rather phantasmal eye than ghost eye when you talk about old medieval irish celtic. But can have both meanings nowadays.

wtf is celtic language?

Gaelic is what it is now. But as all languages evolve over time, around 1400 years ago, celts spoke a different form of "Gaelic" than is spoken nowadays. And also you have different forms of Gaelic in Ireland, Scotland and Wales too. Celts in what is now Southern Germany spoke a language strongly influenced by Latin, as these regions were conquered by the ancient Rome. So well I think it is fair to speak of "irish celtic" as a language when you consider the difference of 800 to 1400 years from now.

Though, it's very hard to find out what they spoke around the 6th century as they had extremely few written down. It was considered faulty to write down what someone said, as a written text can never say the same as what the person that spoke it. They were quite harsh about truth though... everyone is bound by their word. Someone caught speaking a lie could have been sentenced to death.

i agree you on hib and mid , but..... alb/pryd is not middle -strong, is maybe semi gimped-very gimped, a realm who only can handle 2 good fg in 2 years sucks !!( fl + pe )

I'd be careful putting down other guilds and realms if I were you. ;) The RvR scene on Prydwen is a synergetic thing, vulnerable to influence by all realms and groups. If one realm is lacking, the competition will be decreased, and the general quality of RvR groups on the entire server will go down. It's a simple fact that high competition breeds high skill, and Prydwen has been without high competition (on all sides) for a long time now.

In my view, Prydwen used to be the best RvR server with the most skilled guilds and groups of the two English servers, perhaps one of the best in the world. However, this was pre-ToA or at least pre-NF times, and lately, the population has dropped enough so that this factor has been affected. These days, I would say Excalibur has passed Prydwen in terms of the quality of the RvR scene, simply because Excalibur has many more active FGs and the climate is tougher (yet more educational--you either give up or learn fast).

It will be interesting to see what clustering brings. I foresee the Excalibur groups dominating the scene, at least initially. (For the zergs and keep warfare crowd, the impact will be less.)

(EDIT: Also, saying that Alb/Prydwen only had "2 good groups" in the past 2 years is ignorant beyond belief and only exhibits the very special kind of person that Xxcalibur is.)

its a fact, i dont see a semi fixed grp playing more than 2 month in alb/pryd so say alb/pryd is medium/high quality ....... we all know they roll scouts/mincers instead of try to make fg

2.3k + Prime time @ cluster + 100+ people that come back..we are looking at 2.5k primetime numbers, anyone that think it won't be a super zerg fest, dont bother logging in..trust me play Lamorak at peak times (3k) and you will see the meaning of zerg.

Still, will make a nice change from IFuckeRvR, and I should be able to farm muchos realm points with my little zerg farmer.

Roll on cluster and busy RvR <o/

Lets hope it doesnt bring the server to its knees..... :(

it was a rhetorical question, you cannot simply throw 2 "gaelic" words together in the hope that they are grammtologically correct, and yes i am aware that the "gaelic" spoken in Donegal has a different dialect to that spoken in Waterford or Connemara..... conas ata tu anois?

ps read your own posts as i said they dont even hold same story throughout 2 months or 2 years is what i asked u not name em all etc u see what u want ignore rest as with most fools

It won't matter anyways... it will never be "authentic" as on the one hand it was 1400 years ago and we are playing in a fantasy world. Anyways, hardly anybody does what the game genre might imply... roleplaying. ;)

Since you're at it again, Xxcalibur, let's see you continue digging your own hole. So, your little list above is your definition of good groups? If we are to go along the standards set down there (which unsurprisingly, given the low-brow nature of the poster, is hugely biased towards Hib), I'm sure that guilds like Outcast, Rising Force, Kupo Flux, Stigmata and AoD would fit right in.

You bore me, there's no challenge. :(

Last 2 years eh? Then alb would've had Avalanche, Stigmata, Kupo Flux and a number of other guilds aswell. And the number of decent active guilds says fuck all about the quality.

Oke my point of view : Outcast played few time , RF + KF good grps ? maybe fixed grps but they are not opted generally , i dont remember a shit about stigmata tbh. and about Aod .... i told FG of 8 members not 16

Doing /who and writing down the guild names isnt probably the best way to find good rvr groups
