They have many varieties of roleplaying sayings, do not be fooled, do not participate, its not big and its NOT clever. If you find yourself being drawn into the world of elfs and dragons, your best recourse would be to stfu, you noob.

Surely everyone can see your a closet roleplayer, this roleplaphobia you demonstrate is the classic denial all roleplayers go through when they are young and confused.

I do, however, suggest that when you eventually break it to your parents, leave the rubber sword and the "bag of holding" safely in your low-rent-appartment (modern-lingo for parents basement....amongst the roleplaying community...apparently). It's always best to break these things gently, admitting you have a goblin fettish is one thing, but getting kitted up like a cross between Boy George and Grepwerld the Happy Halfling and exploding out of the Narnian-closet is often a little too much to take (also, for the love of god please dont resort to Pythonesque phrases, yes the Knights were funny, sure it made us all laugh, but like a bottle of finest Scottish wine, it doesn't improve with age....well, bad analogy).

Also try and avoid the steriotypes, dont become a raving roleplayer (the type other roleplayers sneer at and cast secret hex's on), wearing plain cloaks, false beards etc is acceptable, but the bard-pants, the lute and cloaks of invisibility (which triggers the running around and the shrieking of "You cant see me" and often ends up with cackling laughs and persuit from several demons in blue...who can apparently dispel the effect of the cloak...being demons.....and in blue....) are right-out!

and thus the mighy squirrel was slain by the arrival of the new elven armies and a time of calm and peace sweaped over Hibernia but for how long?
The luris and the celts ponderd this , and for awhile all was well

untill one DARK night(you know really really REALLY dark) the squirrel did rise from his ancient nap to layest wast to all thouse that stood in his way for his long lost nuts should be returned to him so he swore (in squirell language so noone understood)

Oh yes fish the fish
As the squirell wanderd the land in search of hits nuts he came apon a bass diein on a beach and as most evil deminc squirells would do at this time our hero didest /point and /laugh at the pwnd bass.
The bass /cried and offerd the squirell items and skills of 1337nes if he didest help him back into the water.
Our hero ponderd this for a second then mugged the bass of all his items and skills(note1)
and then he buggerd off leaving the bass while muttering something about Lag.

What will happen to our hero?
Will he reach his nuts?
Will he conquer the known universe?
Will he fall and die in a tragic cucumber accident?
