Thanks all for making us welcome. I had a great time although I'd lost my voice by the end of the evening and was hoarse for most of Sunday.
Had some nice conversations with people and had a lot of fun. A shame we couldn't go on to the club but we'd been up since 6am that morning so bed was the only option at that point.

Pfft, today is the first day I've actually been properly home and will be sleeping in my bed since last Thursday! You should be ashamed of yourself.
Hardcore binge drinking everyday for the win!

Were there any dutch students btw? Dutch people in general? How did you get there, how much did it cost, etc?

I came from belgium with the Eurostar and cost me 120 Euro back and forth from brussels till london. i suppose it wouldn't be that hard to travel to brussels from anywhere in the netherlands (don't think it would set you back more then 20 Euro)

and about the dutch speaking people there... i think i was the only one

although hellen does speak a few words of dutch now, so big \o/ for her. i just hope all the alcohol hasn't killed those particularly usefull brain connections

I came from Holland. Took an easyjet flight frmo Schiphol to Gatwick, costed me € 125 for returnticket friday 14:55 - sunday 15:45. Booked via easyjet.nl a ticket for the gatwick express costing me another 21,50 pound.


I was only at the meet for about 1.5 hours, only spoke to a few old hibbie friends. Ended with a few farewell-hugs as I am a retired DAoC player now.

Did have a blast of a weekend with my girl.

Thank you to everyone that joined us at the Cittie of Yorke last Saturday. I just got off the phone with the pub and they simply loved us and invited us back anytime. Also they said they would give us the Main "church looking" room upstairs that holds about 200 so... just something to think about if anyone want s another meeting in late march
