Procs in Bows

Can anyone confirm as to whether normal weapon procs work in crafted bows at all?

I constantly get conflicting information and at present have turned down several requests due to this. I've searched several forums and the mythic help pages but nothing is mentioned about procs and bows other than the artifact bows

normal crafted procs do not work on bows, however some toa bows have working procs as does a hib SI bow, stag something or other. better to stick a AF charge on it imo, if its mp crafted, 10 charges of 75 AF.

hibs/mids dont have spec AF so an AF buff is more usefull, cant remember if you can get haste charges, if you can get them if your an alb

Why not just farm the 5.5 crocos for af charges.

Preserved Crocodile Eye, 10 af charges, decent stats, but you don't have to wear it anyway , got 3 on my warrior currently, nerf shaman being the only bb with absolutely nothing extra.

And before someone comes telling me 'o u got end regen!! best bb in game imo!'

No, it's not, end regen stops at 1500 range.

i trade spec af for conc bases end anyday.

I am not sure if I'm missing the point here, but most Hunters spec BeastCraft above 32 to get the final wolf. My Hunter has an AF buff of around 51 (Delve 41), so putting an AF buff on the Hunter's bow to give 24 AF extra for 10 minutes seems nugatory to me.

My Hunter is an Alchemist and normal procs don't work, so I have damage add on my bow, and I never use it, I too would prefer something I don't have to keep topping up at 40g!

I think I must have missed the point , Healers and Shamans both have "shield" in the Aug line, this gives the same AF buff that Hunters have, so I suspect my BB would give me an AF buff of around 65...

Thats the base shield buff, you can also get a spec af buff which is +75 AF, Clerics get this where hibs get spec haste on druids and mids get the end buff on shamans.
I assume your beastcraft af buff is "baseline" the same as the ranger self af buff meaning if you use a AF charge it will stack with your own spell. meaning you will have the +51 from self buff and +75 from charge (total 126)

besides you can put them on anything as long as its MP lvl 1 gloves for example, if they are MP you will get 10 charges
