Process Logging software

Hi Guys,

Don't even know if what i'm looking for exists.

I want a LITTLE piece of software to sit in the background monitor every process as it starts and stops (Time stamps are imortant) and how much CPU hoggish they have at any given time.

Hope that makes sense to someone and more importantly hope someone knows of some software will do this.

everest ultimate edition should do what you described it dose full hardware and soft ware monitor of a system

ofc you could always use the process manager in windows via the ctrl+alt+del and event logs but you would have to put the report together your self

There are the Sysinternals tools that should be able to help you

-> Microsoft TechNet: Windows Sysinternals

Specifically Process Monitor that does exactly what you want and a bit more (logging every action of a process) and Process Explorer
You'll need to set a few filters but its not that hard...

Thanks guys will check out ever --- sys tools are pain -- not for my pc so really don't want to spend time compiling own reports just after lazy option
