Probs with a couple of CS maps on BW servers

I'm having a problems with a couple of maps - namely de_nuke and de_vegas: when I try to launch de_nuke on any server the game starts up, goes past the usual splash screen, etc, and then I'm left with a blank screen at a res of 800 x 600 with a Windows pointer icon? I've tried downloading the map from a couple of different locations (i.e. Jolt, CScentral) but it don't make any difference! Any clues??

And with de_vegas on BW server I keep getting a message telling me that the map is the wrong version - once again I've tried a couple of versions that I've found on Jolt but no joy - can someone tell me which one is used on BW please - or point me in the direction where I can drop it from.

Hmm, from youre problem with vegas it sounds like the old version 1.1 problem when they cocked up vegas in the patch release. But its 1.3 now and that shouldnt affect it. I suggest you try a reinstall of CS, then try and join on those maps and see what happens, everything should be fine after a reinstall, just remember to backup youre configs if you need them
