I recently switched from Talktalk to BT and I am having problems getting my TP-Link WA850RE Extender to work with BT's home hub 4. It worked fine on Talktalk but on BT it won't work, its keeps saying "This webpage has a redirect loop". Only one webpage seems to work, which is Facebook, the rest comes up with the loop message.
I have set the ip address on the extender to 192.168.1.252.
I have set the gateway and dns on the extender to 192.168.1.254, which is the ip of the home hub 4.
The hub key is input correctly in the extender and pc network settings.
DHCP is disabled on the extender.
It's on range extender mode 1 (no WDS).
I've also set the SSID (extender) name different to the root SSID (hub).
I've tried multiple factory resets and still can't get it to work.
The device was working perfectly 1 day ago on the Talktalk router before I switched to the BT home hub, so the device isn't faulty and yes I factory reset it when I set it up to connect to the BT hub.
I tested this also on my mobile phone the information is correct but I still get the looping errors.
The firmware version for the TL-WA850RE is 3.14.2 Build 130110 Rel.59385n
The hardware version for the TL-WA850RE is WA850RE v1.2 00000000
Anyone got any ideas on why its not working?
