[QUESTION] Problem with the D2D download?

I have a friend who'd been trying to get connected since pre-ordering and downloading on D2D. When he tries to install it tells him that there's a problem with a file, and he's had no luck finding out what to do.

Think he tried to download open beta client also and that crashed halfway through for him - though I know he could start it up again.

Has anyone else had any problems with D2D download?

any idea what the file is? if its something like d3dx9_34.dll then its nothing to do with the game its a directx file

if its d3dx9_34.dll you simply just need to reinstall DirectX

Thanks all, have emailed him these details. No idea what the error is because of course, we just discussed it a bit at work and assumed it'd be something easily fixed in the evening!
