Problem with The Broken Seal quest

Got to Step 5 of doing this quest with my 27 chanter at Koalinth Caverns, I have to use the talisman to summon a mob at the mouth of the caverns then kill him..However i've been trying to summon this mob using the talisman for 2 days now and keeps coming back with the message 'You must wait for the energies from previous attempts to seal the cavern to disperse'.

I have followed all advise given on quest spoilers etc and no luck..Can anyone help? Anyone else had problems?

I think you need to wait for the energies from previous attempts to dispell the cavern to disperse m8y.

It's B U G G E D !!!!

Been trying for over a month to get it to work. It wont.

Send an email to GOA about it. This was the reply I got:

Yes it is definitely bugged. GOA said they had reset the quest for me. It meant they took it out of my journal.

Damn I really need a belt too with mid range stats..OK thx for your help guys.

P.S. Anyone got a belt lvl 30'ish good for a chanter??

Read 1.62 patch notes

says the quest is bugged but will be working appropriate in patch.

So hang in there

Did it today nps.

Used amulet outside cave (where zone message says you are in entrance area), qbar, press e etc. A kaolinth popped and attacked, quest complete.

Try again after now the server has been reset. If it still doesnt work then perhaps do it straight after the next one im guessing the timer is knackered but server reset probably cures it.

Righto..thanks i will..don't need the belt now anyway cos gained 10 lvls since 1st post..but would sure like the damn thing out of my journal
