problem getting daoc to work on laptop

Dell M70 precision workstation laptop with 1gb memory (2 weeks old)

when i start it i get an application error

I had DAOC running on my laptop - and my spec was crappy compared to yours.

Has the error occured only once or every time ?
Have you uninstalled and reinstalled ?
Have you altered RAM paging ?
Cleaned system of viruses and spyware ?
Have you tinkered about with the DAOC files and deleted or moved a file ?

Whats the exact error ?
