Posting here as the people i want to read this, post here.

Finally got my copy purchased, paid 6quid on ebay and got an update disk (so nice seeing proper names, stadiums, sponsor boards, kits, new music etc).

I've played a few games online and im doing really well, however i wanted to know which formation you guys were using. I've always had trouble with 4-4-2 thus prefer 3-5-2.

play as inter milan and it doesnt matter what formation you use

I wouldnt play with 3 CBs and no full backs though. A good player will just drag one of your centre back out to the wing and leave one of his attackers unmarked

Normally play 4-3-3 if i'm using my master league team or Chelsea, default formation if i use Barcelona.

Leg it up the wing and swing it in for an easy nod home

2CBs, 2WBs, 2DMs(Viera and Cambiasso ftw), 1LM, Christiano Ronaldo as AMF on the right side(sometimes he's a WF depends on what team I am playing against) and 2CFs..

Its not like you sprint into the attacker, if you hold him up you get tons of time for the 2 central midfield players to come defend.

i usually play a good 4-4-2 tbh

Need the wing attacks because crossing is so good on this version.

Need 2 up front to knock in the rebounds as keepers fumble a shit load.

Found it helps to have someone sitting central behind the attackers to thread the balls through.

Have a good dmf to block opposing balls etc but also a nice play maker.

4 in defense is a must imo, 3 is a real struggle and one player outta position then leaves you wide open.

My "dream team" at the mo is:

Carlos, Maldini, Ferdinand, Stam

DMF = Pirlo/Gerrard
AMF = Kaka/Zidane
RW = Ronaldo
LW = Robinho/Gerrard
SS = Rooney
CF = Adriano/Shevchenko/Ronaldo

Pirlo free kicks are just <3

Barca and Inter are easy mode. Eto is the fastest and strongest player in the game, fucking hard to play against especially coz the player you switch to stops running to give him a yard start.. not that he really needs it. I play as Liverpool with: 4 4 2.

Seems to me strength is the most important attribute? Stevie G surging forward, shruging off the challenges to drive at 25 yard beast home ftw . I dont play online, just against friends.

Im PSV atm. The best youngster I've found, is "Park Chu Young" (or something like that). He's really awesome.

You might get caught down the wings a wee bit, a v attacking formation.

Like the 4 CB's btw in PES6 the defenders wander all over the place it seems to be better when u play with the 4 CB's rather than 2WB's

U tried pesfan.com ? dunno if site still up (works pc doesnt allow me into that site ) plenty info there, players to get etc
