Printing Help

I have a large image that looks shit when it is printed out and scaled to A4. (Everything is too small)

What I want to do is split the image into numerous A4 sections and print them out in turn. That way I can selotape them together.

However, I do not want to do this by hand (Not the selotaping, the splitting). Anyone know of a program that will do this for me?

Ta.

I would have thought the printer driver could do this anyway.

I've had a look and can't find anything. It's a very old Brother Laser printer. So I doubt any special features are built into the driver :(

Your'll have trouble bleeding it to the edges of the page - most printers wont do that

I want to do this too.

It doesn't matter bout it touching te edge of the paper, that's what scissors were invented for.

I've got a new lexmark printer and I can't find this option.

the option for doing this when i print is built in to corel draw, maybe the program your using has the feature rather than the print driver?

Open up some paint program (photoshop fs!) & slice the image into a4 slices (21cm by 29cm iirc, give or take) and print each one seperately. Thats my bad suggestion :D

That's fine if you just want one image, but what about multiple images? It's a bit long winded....

Can I suggest trying Irfanview, a completely free (no spyware) image manipulator and it may do the job you need.

Forgot about this thread. Cheers, I'll give that prog a go when I get home from work tonight and see if it works.

All I really want is a 10' Square DAoC map ;)

Because I have another PC next to my main one I normally get the map in PDF and browse it whilst playing, you can do the same using a laptop (not for DAoC, don't play it, so I don't know if there actually is a PDF map).

When I played Asheron's Call they had an "Explorer" program, you could locate anything on the map and zoom in, best bit was the database was open so people added to it all the time.
