Price on seals these days?

topic says it all, what is the price on emeralds,sapphires and diamonds these days?

...actually, I'll need to check these values - for example, the trinket value for diamond seals is based on helmets being worth 143 diamond bars, but I salvaged three helmets yesterday and only got 133 each for them. Hm.

might work on the old salvage

member mythic said they would change the salvage vaule for DF to make it fair

The only thing i specifically remember reading about was an Albion plate hauberk that salvaged for over 200 bars with no equivalent item in Midgard or Hibernia so the Alb crafters were getting an extra boost. That got nerfed at some point, although I don't remember in which patch.

People selling them for 10g still
They trinket for around 14g I think.

The broadsword salvages for 100 diamond bars or 14.9 g per seal.

Hm, according to that post, the salvage values have changed and the optimal items for sapphire, emerald and diamond have changed as well.
Emerald Seals - Avernal Maligned Rapier 1.5369g / seal
(Spiked Mace is only 1.5170g / seal)
Sapphires - Accursed Demon Long Sword 5.0077g / seal
(BP - 4.9602g / seal)
Diamonds - Infernal Malison Broadsword 14.9040g / seal
(BP - 14.8362g / seal)

A Abysmal Hauberk salvages to 146 bars for the cost of 22 seals.

So after salvage, trinket and selling back you make about 14.8g per seal. So we got nerfed for 1.1g per seal where as albs got hit really hard lol. :)

As a crafter though i wouldnt pay more than 10g per diamond seal.

And yes, the salvage values got "normalized" across the realms in 1.54, if someone's still wondering. Noone ever reads the patch notes? :)

I updated http://silent-death.net/salvage/ to take the new seal salvage values into account.

By the way, has anyone salvaged a Finliath Firebrand since the patch? They used to salvage for 68 diamond bars, but some other weapon drops seem to have changed, and I'm wondering if that one did as well.

Well, 500 emeralds bought for 500g would still give you 268g 48s 75c profit, which is not unreasonable for clicking the "hinge" button 170 times.

not making hinges - skilling up on weapons craft from the salvage :D

So what would be the best staffs to buy to salvage ebonwood in df or does it not matter? Want to know which is best for Emerald/sapphire/diamond. Thanks.

can anyone tell me how much a leprachon staff of "you name here" sells for? Aka the 50focus staffs in ench/void/menta which drops at...very suprising, the leprachons in cf ent =)

Or, not really sells for, but how much would i get if i get a fletcher to salvage it for me? .D

Salvages for 136 ebonwood so I'd buy off you for 100g ;)
