There is no such thing as greed really. It's a sellers \ buyers market and it's not driven by greed. If you need money for a future purchase, why would you sell something YOU have found during YOUR time on YOUR subs FEES to just sell it for less money it's actually worth ? No idea at all. You can be generous and fair if someone you are selling an item to doesn't have the money you are asking for it in different forms of discount, but calling other people greedy is just plain envy, that's it.

Besides, if an item's price is set too high it won't sell anyway. Also its uniqueness defines its price.

But yes, I wouldn't price those that high either, as clerics won't have much spell duration in their templates or quickness to that matter.
