How is it buggered? No power, no water, no nothing?

Did you have it running without water? (a real no-no).

Theres water and power, but it looks like the seals on the pump (a swash plate job I rekon) are fooked, cos water leaks out from around the front end. BTW, its a Karcher 232plus.

Ive written to Karcher for a spares list, but Im not very hopefull:(

Well, a leak would certainly suggest a dodgy seal, though I doubt it's because you washed your bike with it ;) I don't think these (home version) things are designed to be used every day so blame it on your dad!

If you want to store up some major brownie points, get down to B&Q/Homebase and pick up a new one for them (they're quite reasonable at the moment).

update

Got a reply from a lady at Karcher UK, sending me some drawings so I can ID the broken bits and order from them direct.:D Which is nice.

So I brought it in to work and one of me boys is stripping it down now.
