Well I gave my gf the 'Brave New World' album by Iron Maiden signed by Nicko McBrain and she loved it ;)

And of course, it lasts 4ever/long time.

Get her something she's actually going to appreciate. I know I'm more practical than girly, but I'd rather get a good book (even if its a type that she hasn't read much before) than something that's funny, but ultimately useless.

Perfume can actually be a really good present, but make sure it's a perfume that you both like - there's no point if she doesn't like it, and likewise if you don't like it. (Vera Wang Princess >>> All).

It's also the little things that count - men are crap at wrapping presents, so for me its special when its been wrapped (even if its a case of ordering it giftwrapped from the online shop or whatever).

lol why? you savage the paper and it ends up in the bin.

we are certainly not useless at it. instead we choose to conserve the energy for something better like masturbation.

Buy her a dustpan but no brush. Tell her to use her hand to sweep up the dust and if she is lucky in couple of years you will buy her the matching brush*.

*Never buy her the brush though - it will keep her on her toes making her think she has displeased you in some way and it will spur her on to try and keep you happier.

how did you know, have you been borrowing it again? :(

Yes! =( I needed it to finish my time machine!

Honestly I think the best idea is what people kept saying, find out what she likes... My ex was an artist, so I brought her art equipment and she liked bracelets; so I got her one of those.

Is all up to the person... See, one of my current friends hates all that... So what to buy then? A pack of 24 stella.
