No real stand out Left Backs in the prem this season, think Cole just shades it due to consistency. Think Evra can be better going forward but he's not so good defensively imo.

Off topic but Clichy scores higher in the Official Site of the Premier League - Barclays Premier League News, Fixtures and Results | Statistics | Actim Index that Evra and Clichy plays in a defence that has had problems all year. So yes i do watch football.

Who cares about statistics that are totally subjective. I can see with my own eyes that Evra is by far a better player than Clichey in almost every aspect.

Evra is part of the defence.

I don't know about you but I think there is a correlation between how good a defence is and the players that play in defence, just a thought....

Good defenders = good defence = Man U.
Bad defenders = bad defence = Arsenal.

I will ruin this thread if i carry on so you just think what you like and i will think that evera is made to look good by the great players around him and that clichy looks good despite playing in a very shakey defence.
