I've been tracking this for a while. The makers seem to have a lot more love of the source material than merely out to make a fast buck. At least, thats how they seem. I could of course be dead wrong.

Regardless, I'm very hopeful this will be much better than the 2 AvP films, which couldn't even do something decent with good source material (as others have repeatedly lamented, why couldn't they just stick to the novels or comics for story and characterisation).

Read the interview, it actually sounds really promising, they are not following the avp route, and are going for the feel of the first Predator movie.
