Ok lads I got the phone number to someone I don't like, they don't know me but owe someone I know some money and are refusing to pay it up, we don't know where they live but we have their phone number. As childish as I am I'm going to make them sorry they didn't pay up, so sugestions as to what I can do with this number? All serious suggestions will be used, all outrageous suggestions will definately be used.

well I thought about that but I'm not sure if SAS would agree with that sort of thing. If he doesn't mind then I will.

Similar to Naths comment but with no expenditure.

Write his number on a piece of paper and stick it in a phone box outside a busy nightclub.

Hundreds of phone calls will be winging their way to your "pal"

How about: Do a reverse phone number lookup, find out where this person lives, and write to them asking nicely for the money ?

So this is someone you don't like but they don't know you. Do you know them? How much money is owed? Why are you getting involved?

My advice: making calls like this is illegal. Tell your friend to take out a claim in the small claims court (costs about £35).

Well - its not supposed to be allowed. But isn't really very hard. Still got a cover CD from some Mag or other about 2 years ago, containing the database and search tool ! - think the Mag got in a bit of trouble about it back then !. There's a new version on a different Mags CD for September, but it doesn't allow telephone number searching this time !

A great way to prank call him would be something i once tried, get a bunch of sound-samples from a game and stick them in a winamp playlist so you can load them at will, then put your phone to the pcs speakers and let em hav a conversation with one of the ingame charectors (Ive been considering doing this with the HL scientist, that'd be funny)

No. not much. Because my its money owed to my boss and shes going to set me up with her daughter.

I know making calls like that is illegal. But then so is speeding, doing drugs, etc you all do it (I don't coz I'm a saint) you just don't get caught. 141 or payphone everytime, but I like the nightclub idea.

Anyway, its no big deal now as they have paid up after the adress was found and a little "persuasion" was used. :)

One of my personal favourites doesn't require much effort at all. Just ring 'em, and when they pick up say:

'Oh i'm sorry, I think you have the wrong number.'
