But I want to get another pair, so I can connect to that same line, but also so I can use them in my house next year, so basically grouped as 4, then separate as 2...

Ideally, I wanna get these; http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-PA4...e=UTF8&qid=1396096654&sr=1-2&keywords=TP+link

Cos they're cheaper, but my question is, will it work or do I have to get the same ones?

I did some research and found that 200 Mbps is enough, but if I got this; http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005KTM2G6/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics would it be compatible with a 500 Mbps one (I'd imagine so, just sends out 500 Mbps but only receives 200Mbps?)

as long as they are the same type any brand will work, check the speed and so forth

it's likely that they will sync to a lower data rate, but I do not know this for a fact chum,
