Malta moved to euro 3-4 years ago. They co-existed for a while but it's 100% euro now.

The problem with having Maltesers as currency is you go to Costco, stock up several hundreds of thousands of boxes, move to Malta intending to live like a king, forget its 40C, and your wealth melts into a sticky honeycomb chocolately mush

sorry had people over, was being a bit of a flake. Stop being such a dweeb, no one likes nerds. If I had the time to (walnut) whip you they would employ minstrels to make songs of my victory that would revererate through the milky way galaxy. :)

We got similar euro stores, should visit more often, but the nearest is a 25min busride aay so not -really- worth the time for some batteries and such :p

They do have some fun stuff in them.

It does actually, same as putting the price at .99 instead of 1. Doesn't work for all, but still works :p

Studies have shown that this downmarking hasn't worked in years. People are too aware of it. That's why you see a lot less .99 products these days.

Ah, but that's just what the pound shop study fabrication organization WANTS you to believe

People think they know that the 99cent scam is a scam, so they buy the more expensive stuff because they think it has better quality, when infact it's just more expensive and the 99cent scam has made you oblivious to the difference, which actually isn't there!
