Although that is only a problem when you fight someone and a fg adds at the end and you try to get away safely...

They should try and make it so it only is possible for pets to see through stealth when the master was attacked by the target.

Because if you attack a petclass you know that it is just part off their class and you have to deal with the concequences if you underestimated your opponent.
But an adding petclass in anyway, where you decide not to pick a fight against ( wich is your right and privilege as a stealther) should imho not be aloud to find a stealther with their pet.

- Shouldnt be able to take damage while in FZ

- Change moc so that the damage value also affects the chance to give an interrupt. Atm an interrupter can just hit moc1 and be just as effective as moc3 or such. Moc1 = 25% chance to interrupt. And reduce the strength of buffs you can strip with buffshears also, during moc.

- Remove all insta CC (except snare maybe) and put sorc mez back to 1500 range.

- Reduce values on lifetaps, decrease cast speed, or nerf the built in dmg bonus. Baseline lifetap outdamaging specnuke takes the piss.

- Give all insta spells a lowered or no chance to interrupt.

- Fix the bug where bolts hit through phaseshift

- Change speedwarp to only drop speedbuffs in the radius of the actual warp, not when you are outside it.

- Change TWF so that you arent snared anymore once you walk out of the radius, or make it a breakable snare.

- Remove being able to quickcast insta debuffs.

- Make 'special' buffs like spec AF and haste group-only, range-based, or give all to all.

- Reduce infil specpoints to 2.2x spec and put dragonfang at lower thrust spec.

- Nerf everything that can chain-stun, except maybe ST.

- Change relics so they give other bonuses than damage alone.. it shifts the balance too much

- make classes gain proper stats.. mages gain qui, bards gain emp.. wtf?

- stuff, cba thinking of more

So insta mezz is gone, zephyr nerfed, dd's unable to interrupt and woohoo i can keep my snare that is resisted 40% of the time!

Just pointing out, and yes i know skalds have good things to.

good point - if you look at the new catacomb classes they all get reasonable rising stats (bainshee for example int, dex and con). I don't see why they cannot change these stats for the other classes retrospectively.


A general problem I see is that too many things interrupt. If it has to be then tone down mage dps but getting perma interrupted and then not being able to cast for another 4 secs because of the crap interrupt code takes the piss.

One thing that would be good for the game is to lower damage output overall (both light tanks and mages) and to make up for it increase mage survivability.

are you saying that you should both lower all damage(for mages&lighttanks atleast) and then you should increase mage survivability ontop of that?

So while lightanks get doubly rammed, mages get one "nerf" and one "buff"?

just wondering if i interpreted it correctly

so which stealther exactly does 460ish dmg every second? (when cap swingspeed is 1.5secs, which if im correct means that he should hit for about 690dmg pr. attack.)

i get ganked by stealther all the time.. i play my rr1L8 paladin with random rog and capped EMPATHY, its just insane, i mean im a heavy tank, and i have chants!!!!!

my nerf wish list would be

ALL forms of INSTA CC (including insta amnesia + desiease)

Hib baseline stun (if they gonan have stun make it in a spec line)

The timer on BD insta dd

Zonewalls in housing

take away sorc bolt range mezz and give all classes /qc to mezz with at same range (to equal it with no insta cc)

Sm intercept rate with there pets

RELICS . give them an other bonus apart from ST/POW cos the game is to much in favour of ANYBODY who owns them.

change back some ra's to old style ones. like mcl i.p etc.. they so exspensive for th shit you get for em most people avoid having them now.

thats al i can think off right now. but im sure i could add more.

Bonedancer lifetap range, they have a ranged DD already.

They should remove doublespeccing from Alb chars! It's damn lame that mid gets free 2h while we have to spec in both 1h damage and 2h skill.

When do I start getting baseline styles btw? I don't want to waste my spec points on weapons.

I started getting my baseline styles at level 40, which is way to high, cos casters get baseline spells at level 5!!

yes because mages can only do damage when not interrupted which is usually at start of a fight - once they got a pet or tank glued to their ass the dps goes towards zero while tanks are still effective

I would make a Bladedancer, they get DD's and instant mezz..

But if you want to play a good class, then go play Hibernia, they have Sauvages and Mentalistrels.. very good casters!

Midguard getting Warsocks aswell soon, i hear they are good

yea and healer/bard has disadvantage of lower dex, and healer has disadvantage of no insta lullaby

but healers have more utility in other areas

Wtf!? I just deleted my pali and chose midguard but there's no class called "warsock". U suck dude!!
