What ever happened to the Champion Commanders...

I remember heading to emain at the bright young level of 21 (or was it 17, something hideously low) and everyone was going 'aieeeeeee, back! don't pull the CC!'

never hear that anymore... have they reduced aggro range? or are we all just higher level so the guards don't hurt so much?
