I thought a "Posh Noodle" was just extra-thin noodles in an extra-thick sauce, and something you eat after playing football.

Chicken super noodles = win.

Pot noodles are filthy disgusting pieces of shit, they're not noodles, they're not even food.

I get some semi-proper thai noodle thingys from the cash and carry - they come with their own little fork! They're very very hot and far superior to Pot Noodles.

Why not just make your own damn noodles!

It takes 5 to 15 mins to cook the noodles and 20mins to make a sauce with vege's and chicken/pork/beef...

Simple and tasty

Shin Cup that's them. The fork is in the Green Dragon ones, which are nice too. But the Shin Cup ones..... when they're finished and you've got a third of a tub of really spicey stock.......

Give me a recipe :D I want something nice, not any oriental stuff...

I've not eaten SuperNoodles, or PotNoodle for a few years now. I'm not going to go as far as to say that they're disgusting, and barely edible, since i will probably go back to eating vast quanties of both at some point in the future :(

Just off the top of my head here is a recipe. I dont have anything formal as I just make this kind of thing as I am cooking....

******

Slice a chicken breast or two into little strips.
Cook the chicken in a hot frying pan with olive oil, mixed herbs, salt, pepper, soya sauce untill no longer a pinky colour on the outside.

Cut up leeks, courgettes, carrots, green pepper, red pepper, baby corn (double the amount of vege as you have meat) and add this to the chicken. Add some Garam Masala, Cardamom(sp), coriander, Turmeric, Worchestershire Sauce.

Once the vege's start to get a bit soft, add some red wine, balsamic vinager, chutney (not too much) in with the vege's and meat. (or you can add one of those ready made sauces in the shops)

While that is cooking, boil some water add some noodles and cook until done.

Add the noodles to your vege's and meat once they are cooked as well and stir that all together and then voila there's your meal!

I dont eat Pot Noodles at home, only when I cant be arsed to walk to town to get a sandwich at lunch. The local Londis shop isnt really known for its diverse cuisine, Chunky Micro Chips, Micro Burgers and Pot Noodles are pretty popular in this office.

Wij I envy you having a Chinese that delivers, I love Chinese food. But the nearest is a good 20 min walk, sucks not having a car :(

Givf Cheltenham a Chinese delivery service !!

Korean ones (Shin cup and the like) are the best pot noodle variety but the Chinese / Vietnamese make the best Super Noodle style ones (lots of chillis, strange flavoured oil and a good soup base).

Pot Noodle's used to have GM on the label at which point I stopped the kids eating them, but t hey seem to have taken that off now. Does this mean that they no longer use GM soya or that they just decided to not tell us any more?

*me connects two empty Shin Cups with string and phones Wij, my Shin Cup buddy*
