ok...I'm sitting here, connecting to the internet via tunnels cause I exceeded my bandwith ( but connections to the university servers are free xD ) and now I have a problem. Tunneling http via putty is no problem ( well else I couldn't write here with firefox, only with lynx/links =)) ). Now tunneling to DAoC is a tad more difficult so what I've done by now is that I'm using the trick that lets me go around the update server cause no way I can get to work. It seems like it takes some setting from iexplore and I think it's bugging there.
Well anyways, the much bigger issue now is, that I need to tunnel to the login and gameservers and login server won't let me in. I've tunneled all the connections in the login.dat, so theoretically there is a tunnel from
myport -> destinationIPort
10500 -> 193.252.123.20:10500
10500 -> 193.252.123.30:10500
10501 -> 193.252.123.20:10501
10501 -> 193.252.123.30:10501
blablabla...for all ports till 10504. Well now the huge problem is...can one port be tunneled to multiple instances or is that messing up my login connections?
Would be nice of someone who already did that with DAoC or some other game could post experiences here, as I'm not really a master of SSH knowledge right now =)
