Can anyone tell me how i go about doing this please?

I've tried portfoward.com but don't fancy paying out to use their software.

Cheers :)

The only service names that come up are

Age-of-Empire
FTP
HTTP
ICUII
IP_Phone
NetMeeting
News
PPTP
Quake II/III
Real-Audio
Telnet

The only one i can think of it remotely being is PPTP, but i don't know if that stands for p2p or not, so i'm not sure.

The other alternative is 'Add custom service', where i need a Service name, start/end port and server IP address <- router address or my IP?

thats why you click the button called

Custom Service, and create one of your own

service name=what ever you wanna call it
port=the ports you want to use
ip=the comptur you are forwarding too

na, its so you know what they hell is going on if you have alot of different forwardings, which can happen specially if you have a couple of comps connected to the same router

that's kind the thing with port forwarding isn't it? you direct a port to a certain IP address, and for it to get to you, you need to name your address, very similar to sending a letter ;)
