I have a little problem. I have dl'ed the SI patch from site (http://daoc.goa.com/en/) at work and tried to install it at my home. But it doesn't work. When I try to run SI client it starts dl'ing again. Now I dont want to dl 70MB at home with 6kps ...
any help?

Could be that you've just got the 'SI' bit (such a technical term ) - but not all the patches that have come since SI.

I reinstalled the Classic client a while ago but had to end up waiting for it to patch itself back up to 1.69 which took bloody ages even with my fancy-ass 1mb line

could be thaty you go the old updater that points to the current SI install, just wait til patch day and itl all be good hopefully
