Regarding crusades though, it was more of "you're not taking our imaginary friend, who is your imaginary friend too, as he should be taken!" :p

Since someone mentioned it, the whole crusades thing:

Isn't having a war over religion kind of like fighting over who's imaginary friend is better?
if you ignore the main motivation behind the crusades having little to do with religion at all :p,
yeah sure

although strangely enough if condoms existed back then the crusades possibly may not ever have happened o_O

since the anti-religion zealots are derailing the topic again :p

Actually condoms did exist back then, just not in their current form and only those that were better off had access to them.
