Pop-up Blaster's Annoying Pop-ups

Does anyone else keep getting the annoying windows-based popups from that damn pop-up blaster program ?

I keep getting a fair few when it spews them out through random IP's.

Things like LUXSITE and janitagirl.9w and all that rubbish ?

How do I stop these things please, they pop up when I am online and perhaps playing a game and seem to have top application priority?

I have pop-up cop and all that but these things get straight through it.

Please help, it is a MAJOR annoyance.

turn off messenger in control panel >administration tools >services

It worked, not only did I stop it but I disabled it from starting up.
