And yes, one and sole reason that your raid failed is the mighty Usp, who singlehandedly killed you all. Other 120 hibs in gorge and about 2 fgs who were taking keeps right after you and thus introducing more and more uberguards had nothing to do with it. Nerf Usp the mighty

Its true. They are incompetent because they bought Netimmerse wich obviously isnt suited for a game with 20+ characters onscreen simultaneously. (I dont think they even tested the big-battles parts of the game before release). There is also a possibility that Netimmerse has some kind of LOD functionality but mythic ppl were too incompetent to enable it. In either case, the Netimmerse coders arnt responsible for putting their engine into this kind of game, mythic is responsible.

I dont really understand why thousands of players put up with insane lag on _every_ big event, it really takes the fun out of it uke:

We knew there was something going on, and our little stealther friend Trad spotted all of the mids as they left MPK.

By the time we heard it from Trad, we suicided out of the zones we were in (HDS was at Bledmeer) and went to Gorge. We arrived at Dun Ailinne and had 5 minutes to claim keep and get the guild there. Then the mids arrived.

Meatballs saying it on IRC didn't make any difference. Don't blame him for anything. But people are right that you shouldn't say such things on IRC.

Besides I don't think many mids really care that we lost (usually happens with prime time raids, don't think people are really prepared to win), but that information got to the enemy in a way they don't like. So I think it's a bit stupid to try to end this discussion with "it didn't make a difference". As I said earlier, it's about principles.

seems a bit harsh as people generally talk about people in various zones all the time in there and even often as members of other realms to do a /who xxxxx when they want to do a little rvr..
He didn't announce any relic attack and didn't break any rules of (a) the game or (b) the irc channel so getting banned is pretty unjustified.. this coming from one of the Gryms.. I'm trying to remember if it's Grymlina or Grymligast that's been accused of cheating and exploiting numerous times, if it's not you I aplologise


Oh well, we knew anyway and the relic wasn't about to be taken... as for it being announced on an alliance channel almost an hour before it happening I don't know, HDS heard about it less than 10 minutes before mids were pounding at Ailinnes doors.

perhaps it's either the mid that let the information be seen and the hib that was evesdropping that should be the ones persecuted here, not someone messing around in irc... Lets get some names and have ourselves a public hangin!

So you knew we where raiding while we where still discussing stuff in a cg about the raid, and no that cant be from scouts because ppl didnt port to emain already at that time, and even knew the time of our raid and what relic we where going after...

Is it material where it happened? Chances of a complete stranger who also happened to be a hib on the same server looking over the shoulder of a mid.. are small. The mid quite certainly was aware he was spied upon.

Security risks must be identified and elliminated.
