Why flame you?

Because you mentioned on IRC about the mid raid? Yes it doesnt really help us, but flaming you wont solve anything either :)

Nice death spam msg at Aillinne, I think alot of us were laughing at that stage :)

We fought hard and well knowing what we were up against, and are happy with the result.

Good work Midgard :)

poor mids, they should have been successfull but some one blabbed about your raid and we all knew 1 hour in advance, dam shame u did not get to the relic room though as we had one hell of a pbae mana storm waiting for you.
And nice work USP. now thats how you use pbae.

Was only 2fg of HDS in ailinne at the time that the mid zerg arrived.

We decided to head to lord, but I saw the first door go down fast, and knew lots on the doors.

So, got to inner door, and I guess Mids had a lack of /effects self as it took 4 casts before anyone hit me, in which time I had done the above damage.

My group of 8 got over 8k RP's each in those 4 casts, and the mids quickly left ailinne after getting the inner door down.

/salute middies :)

dunno what what help this kind situation?
hope that jerk now feels good when he open his mouth in irc, maybe using daox? one way of cheating that too.

Well it's good that you guys think it's fun that #Daoc.prydwen got spammed with info about it more than one hour before we were at the relic.

What makes me most sad is the unbearable frame rate you get. It's simply not fun to run around with ~1 fps at the relic keep.

And some git alb warning theirs and ours enemy realm at least 15 mins before we left PK don't help either :rolleyes:.

I agree about the appalling framerate. It's hard to do anything at 1fps.

As for the IRC thing, that particular channel seems to be the hangout of first class dicks.

I don't use DAOX and as IRC has no physical affect on DAOC whilst it is running it is not a cheat.

I was just speculating that it was a relic raid as I didn't have access to any information from midgard, I asked that hibs keep an eye out (they already knew by the looks of it anyway) as I do not want midgards become more powerful (at the moment hibs dont have any bonus's, we dont have any bonus's mids have 10% on power), in the interest of myself and my realm (unless someone wanted all targets in same place). Remember I'm an Albion and you're my enemy.

If you think that you're raid being found out spoils the game boohoo, if I was a nightshade the information would have travelled just as quickly, its was your raid's flaw that you could not overcome the mighty manabombs. Better luck next time!

I think it was that you used iRC to do this that upset ppl...
You would react exactly the same if we did this some days ago when albion raided Hibernia.

Whats the fun in attacking an undefended keep? thats PVE? You can finish levelling up to 50 to do that. Or go back to 5am keep raids (wouldn't put it past Mids trying again tonight everyone! Just keep an eye out! Oh wait no thats bad can't do that it might affect the outcome of the game talking about it through a different media)

It's not like there aren't people in emain almost 24/7 anyway so doing a relic raid at prime time on a weekend (/sal to all mids involved btw, people are getting bolder).

There were stealthers around emain and indeed HDS's very own little backstabber Trad was hovering around keeping a look out.

I saw the message on irc and 'about a thousand mids just ported into emain' doesn't really tell us that much..

Maybe albs would even have a reason to try and aid us to stop mids getting stronger still.... It is war after all

Why posting the CoC? No one have complained that you broke it? I just think that it is against the spirit of the game to inform the other realms of things they don't know.

And it was much less likely that it would have been an NS that did suicide there as you had 30 persons at mmg camping, so a NS would either have a bit of a hard time coming through or if he would have suicided he would probably have done a suicide attack on some of the many albs and try to gain some RPs at the same time. Maybe we had taken this into calculation? That there probably was no hibs nearby because the albs was all over emain?

What you did isn't, obviosly, prohibited, but in my opinion it's just against the spirit of the game and ruins others fun.

Edit: Just want to say that I, at least, don't care wether it gave the hibs an advantage or not, it's just about the principles.

How else is crossteaming to occur? with an intricate sign language made up of <bow> <clap> <kiss>? :D

Hibernians/Mids/Albs have in the past gathered up defenders over IRC, in fact one albion said in public irc channel about our relic raid whilst it was still occuring. Thats not good he's supposed to be on our side and is subjected to privelleged information.

If the midgards had more discipline instead of venturing out from the PK causing me to attack them, and then opening the doors frequently, I would only have been able to speculate on the large amount of lag I got whilst suiciding.

Some people said cheating, and I highlighted the bit specifically about crossteaming is appropriate, so surely it is in the spirit of the game?

Partially agree with Silverhood here, surely it would have been better all round for Albion to take the relic off the Mids? I can't say I like the use of the internet in this way to tip off the Hibbies either. MeatBall isn't an idiot though, so chill please - getting heated and sounding off makes you look silly.

Is against the CoC, apart from anything else.

16. Engage in any behavior that is contrary to the 'spirit of the game' as defined by Mythic in its sole discretion.

Given that the game is coded specifically so that there is no way for realms to communicate with each other in real time other than by gestures ... I think it's a fair assumption that you aren't supposed to be able to give detailed reports to your enemies (whether you want to or not)
