It screws up the threaded format of thread viewing if you don't specify who you're replying to... Although I'm sure quick reply could be set to automaticaly reply to the person who last posted in the thread.

Its for people who use the weird view. Although the fact that I assume most people do what I do and click the nearest available quick reply button to their mouse cursor, and this would mean that the threaded view would get incredibly confusing....

Doesn't the ADSL Guide use threaded view as default on their forums? I hate it
I just do what Ch3tan does and click the quick reply button at the bottom post.

Yeah if you dont use the reply button it breaks the Threaded Views. Theres the option to turn it off and have the quick reply box open. TBH the threaded views are nasty, anyone or anyone know of anyone that uses that view?
