I need to get through MT Coronet but there are rocks I need to push aside. I have a Machoke or whatever the things called (lvl 28) with the TH HM Strength. I should be able to push things aside, but it states I need the 4th badge.

I've beaten the flower lady, water guy, karate rock person and probably some other gimp but I cant use that ability :-(

The places I have not been are;

Sunnyshore City
Lake Valour
The whole of Stark Mountain
Snowpoint City

It looks like I need to get through Mt Coronet but I cant, I noticed some bastard kid who jumps out the floor saying there is a ninja trainer who's hidden, but im sick to death flying round all the cities and not finding anything new.

Am I missing something?

But Pokemon, seriously!!!!

Anyway the time i spend in here is work time.

Same as me.
The reason I have a DS is for the 1 hour trip to work, and the 1 hour journey home. Figure it's better to waste time on that than read some junk in Metro or The London Paper lol.

Pokemon is pretty much an RPG, I doubt you'd be so narrow minded if I posted a Final Fantasy question?

pokemon.... aint that for 12 year olds?

Yeah, the anime is maybe but the games are still a half decent RPG.

Why do people pull a face at pokemon and yet when you say you like sonic, most people don't bat an eyelid and i've been playing sonic since I was about 4.

cause sonic came in 1991, and personally I was 13 then, so I kinda fit into the group that would play such a game and pokemon came at 1996 when I were 18... and were doing alot of other things besides playing kid games, but the nostaligc vaule makes me like sonic still, whilest I have no connection to pokemon

omg did you get laid on the tube!?

When you say Laid, do you mean "kinda fell asleep while eating twiglets"? If so, then Yes woo!

Thanks buddy, have found a guide so gonna check I dont re-download the same one hehe.

I agree with you. Plus I only have 1 hour to play in the morning (if i dont sleep) and 1 hour on the journey home so I wanted something with an RPG element which could be played in short bursts.

That's a good point about nostalgia, however there is a somewhat taboo about Pokemon. If I play pc/console games I do not feel I have the right to be ageist, nor tell the person to "get a life". Games = entertainment end of story.

Has your parents/aunt/uncle/family friend ever watched you playing daoc/TF/CS/C&C and said "stop playing games its for kids"? Didn't you feel like saying "fuck off you stupid ignorant fuck, go back to watching your soap operas?"

What you said about it being for kids is literally the same as what a parent may say about any game. When push comes to shove, it's graphical images which move in a certain way to create a form of entertainment. There should not be an Ageist attitude.

still, pokemon was pointed towards a younger audience when it came, thats why I said "a game for kids" I would not play a game for kids when I was 18, on the other hand, if I had been at a age where I could have seen myself playign it when the game came, I would probably look at it the same way as I do at Sonic today

have actually never had someone tell me to stop playing games cause it was for kids, only thing really is my mother asking me if I shouldn't pull down on the play time, which at the time was a good question to ask as was playing pretty every wake hour of the day

never really started to play games untill I had my own place either

My cousin bought the yellow Pokémon GameBoy version on a spanish market, but when she got home she ofc noticed that it was in spanish! She was 8 years old at the time and didn't even know any english, so she gave me the game. At first I thought "meh.. Pokémon! I'll be mocked by all my friends! I'm 12 goddamnit!", but after trying it for a bit, and not understanding anything I found it rather amusing! I played, played and played! About 200hours or so, before I finally finished off the Pokémon League(I think that's what it was called?)!

I had so much fun playing it :D And my lvl100 Prime-Ape kicked everythings ass in one or two hits ;)
