Poaching of Guild Members

Midgard sinks to a new low.....

Newly reformed guilds, PM'ing everyone one of the high level members of SoV to try and poach them into there Guild.

I for one find that a bit sad, sure, if they approach you and ask about joining I havent a problem, but to actively try and poach people is a bit crap.

I won't mention the guild, they know who they are.

I have heard of 2 old guilds doing something similar, it sux, you get members by proving your worth to them, not with bribary and false promises.

I totally agree with you Shagrat.

I think it's sad when some guilds go "fishing" for high lvl players in other Guilds. Actually I think it stinks.

The best thing you can do Shagrat is to PM the GM rigth away and ask them to stop this at once.

I agree it sucks to PM other highlvl members and try to recruit them but it's like a releationship. If there's something wrong in the relationship, you will most certainly leave and try out something new.

And to those who leave and join other guilds, try to make an effort to stay in your current guild, even if you're having problems with some members. It's better to sort them out than just leave with a bitter taste in your mouth.
