this is becoming a serious issue all over the realm...
I have levelled Filou lately and must FULLY AGREE to this thread. Buffbots are a nuisance...
... I did not care up to now for a simple reason: The game can be played in x-different manners and as long as ones attitude does NOT negatively affect the gamefun of others or does not contradict too much the "nature" of what daoc is supposed to represent as mmorg for the majority of its players it is acceptable and bearble to all of us...

Having said this I must personally confess that the Buffbot invasion is getting too heavily used in this game and now effectively IS negatively affecting the gamefun for the others !
-> besides the mid term consequences of it might seriously alter the situation of this realm and the balance and efective played total number of class members and the way the levelling processes work. Also it is already negatively affecting the teaming and groupdynamics, a fundamental aspect of DAoC.
Please take this as my personal opinion and perhaps the majority see the "new" strongly buffbot-governed and impacted DAoC as how the game should be.

Someone mentioned the guilds taking actions against it. However this is a individual decision and therefore to be taken by each individual and only then perhaps by guilds or even alliances.
Nevertheless I want to state that the Amazon guild is strongly and defintively against the utilization of buffbots and will not support this new development. Again this is a individual decision the guild and its members for themselves decided to adopt.
