Playstation 1 Nostalgia as I say goodbye

Just tidying up my old PS1 (which I purchased on UK release date) and about to put into storage.

Had a look for old times sake at a few of the stranger/rarer games I have again:

• 
  Dance Dance Revolution with 2 dance mats
  
  Beatmania with turntable
  
  Time Crisis and Point Blank 1&2 with 2 GunComs.
  
  Densha Go Go - the train driving simulator
  
  Gallop Racer 1 & 2 - horse racing game
  
  All the Namco Musuem collections
  
  All the Capcom Generations collections
  
  

Just thinking that I have quite a collection of games and peripherals really. I will keep them all in a dry cool place away from dust, and maybe they will be worth a bit on E-Bay in 5-10 years time.

thats what i said about my megadrive.
kept all nice and snug in the loft, and ill probebrly do the same with my PS.

the only problem is how many of the blighters they made. your gonna be waiting over 20 years before they tart gettung less common.

20 years? original pong games from the seventies are rare and i dont think theyre too valuable, maybe in a centuries time eh?

I still love and adore my playstation and will continue to use it until it breaks. You have to keep playing the classics, final fantasy 7, resident evil, metal gear solid, syphon filter. Ah those were the days.
Anyone know where I can pick up an N64 with Lylat wars, shawdows of the empire and mario cart 64?

I just sold a PS1 and a N64 for £20 each (last week) on Amazon. My PS became a waste of time when I loaned it out 'for a couple weeks' and it finally returned after 6 months scratched and minus the games & TV lead. Thanks, my so-called mate . Seeing as I've got a PC, I only really played Tekken3 against mates after clubs and now thats gone it became pointless. .
Prolly gonna buy a PS2 soon tho. as they are getting cheap now
As for N64 it was bought for the kids as a toy & they played it about 3 times 'cos it looks crap next to Quake2 (or any decent PC game for that matter -they only just got a watered down weedy DOOM on those things!)

I know your pain. I never got mine back tho.

Still got 99% of the games tho. Lucky they work in me PS2
