Playlist problem

I've stuck a load of albums on my Nexus One and got a cable into the car stereo.

I have about 70 tracks on my computer, in a playlist, of 80s music. The stuff I grew up with, which I like to listen to occasionally. Thing is, when I copy it into an "80s" folder on the phone, it automatically creates 80 artist entries, and 80 album entries. Its a right pain because then I can't find my other albums.

Is there an easy way around this?

You need to edit the ID3 tags of the files. I've got folders for specific albums then one folder for just random MP3's and for them I've renamed the Artist/Album tags as "Random" and I go by track name/file name.

I got a bit of software that deletes all id3 tags, thanks.
