Playing with guns...

In all the time I've been with WPKenny, I've managed to avoid playing these quake/counter strike games and the like, but I would actually like to find one that I don't tremendously suck at... any suggestions? I can't bear the ones that go well fast - they give me vertigo, as with the ones where you dont have gravity... I'm one of those people that indicates with their head every time they turn their character around in the game, and so they end up making me ill.

Kenny has tried teaching me, but as soon as we get in game his competitive streak emerges and I end up looking at an image of my internals before I have even worked out how to jump or load a gun. So is there a quite easy game to learn, where I could maybe play to start off with without being blazed as a NoooBy, and then maybe actually be able to hold my ground against Kenny? Or at least learn enough to run around abit before I die?

Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but Im damned if I'm going to ride in the actual player forum when I really don't have a clue what they are talking about... I'm hoping people will be a little more sympathetic here...

Must be WPs teaching....he did it all the time in AQ2.

Tic Tac Toe... I'm sure we used to play that in Bognor... and whilst it used to degenerate into the threatened use of guns, I'm sure thats not quite what I'm thinking off.

Play it without WP around, it doesn't help having him hang around while you play. If he tries to stick his oar in tell him he gets out or no boom boom ;)

Have a go at Ghost Recon. It's more of a creep-around than a shoot-em-up (tho' there's plenty of that too).

Counter-strike falls into the slow category, though if you want non-competative, try Action Half-Life. It's all about style.:D

Itd be better to start with a single-player game like Half-Life or Counter-Strike with bots. Wouldn't know where to get them, though.

Action Half-Life is pretty fast usually, CS is about right... you could always try all of the HL mods one by one until you find one that's right for you...

Style is something I'm sure I'd have a distinct lack of... I could murder all of you in the arcade shoot em ups, but throw in a mouse and a keyboard and my multi tasking nuerone skills shut down. I think its a dyslexia thing, but I can never remember what buttons do what. If I walk and talk at the same time I fall down. Something has to give.

I'll see what games I can pinch off Kenny and give em a go. I did try em when Kenny was in halls, but the guy trying to teach me assumed I was a lead eating retard child, and was trying to fill my brain with bull shit. "When we do this, you call out for the sausage manouvre." Yeah, right. I played long enough to kill him, and left it at that.

Hehe.... Well warn him that if he does any of the washing up, and doesn't leave his socks everywhere, then I'll rumble him.

Actually... a-hem... Kenny always does the washing up. I get given flowers everyday. And the first thing he does every day is write a poem about my beauty, and brings me breakfast in bed. You have to do all this or else I will guess you are the fake.

The best time to kill him is while he is sleeping.
