Playing online

Hey all.
Just wanted to know, i only have a 56k modem (don't have broadband in my area yet), will i still be able to play NWN online and with how many players?

Nwn isn't really aimed at being a mmorpg, certainly not on the scale of daoc, uo, eq, swg etc. It's possible (by connecting 64 person servers together) but since there's no dedicated server support, you'll need some high speed friends to write their own world

Have a read of my thread on Multiplayer, I tried to give an impression of the different types of multiplayer gaming in nwn and how they might develop. Hope it helps!

Tried playing online tonight - managed to get onto a few servers but NWN crashed on loading most (after patch) ... not impressed

Hmm Bym not had any problems online at all. No crashes, bare minimum of lag playing on US servers, nothing.

Tried checking the official forums to see if others are crashing?
