wtf,.. i think i gotta read up on NF abit as i have no clue...
i seriously thought someone was being oversarcastic about those specs in the link.
sarcastic in a way that what i have heard about nf and its keeptaking they were refering to their actual wpn specs as rams, catapults, ballistas etc.

NF truely seems like alot of fun for the tank community! uke:

NF pushes the game towards how its supposed to be played, keep warfare, running emain as it is at current state is not rvr its rp farming. Having objectives such as defending or capturing keeps/towers should add depth to the gaming experience. Tanks have always been limited in keep sieges. With th advent of NF you get the chance to use siege weapons more, instead of just rushing around slamming, its a change of playstyle thats all.

some of the changes that they proposed in Mark Firor's (sp?) post should encourage more open field combat imo

things like changing teleporting so you can only teleport to the coastal keeps, could result in a new emain type arena when people don't want to fight at keeps, the reduction in speed of flames appearing on maps will help too because people won't all rush immediately to an area in search of action, I hope it will bring out more roaming (although hopefully not to the extent that it is now)

but as things stand, I think it looks really shit for tanks

I was refering to seige warfare where the keeps are defended etc. I think from what ive read/seen that will become the more prevalent type of warfare with NF.
