i hope i don't have to more of that shit than usual, cus then theres no fun for me in this game longer, taking keeps is today the most boring thing you can do ingame, sitting watching a blank screen is even more fun. And i doubt that they can make it that more joyful to take keeps :|

there's actually a new clause in the EULA:

Players of melee based classes and their groups shall endeavour never to leave the area of a keep unless they are /releasing and running back - they shall either be sieging or sitting inside defending whilst reading a book and not running around trying to take other towers away from the zerg or intercepting any reinforcements coming by foot.

Yes, all tanks can do in sieges is break doors, repair doors, operate rams, trebs, ballistas and boiling oil, use a short/crossbow or thrown weapons, guard ranged classes, manage npc guards, kill npc guards, sally out to break the siege, or blockade incoming additional enemies.

Aimless, endless, pointless savage gank group 8v8 roaming is still entirely viable in 1.70 by the way. The only difference is that the non-min-maxed groups will no longer be providing free rps. Because they'll be off doing something useful for the realm instead.
