right, so most leagues has ended. Who do you think have been the best players of 06-07? :)

imo:

1) Kaka - One man army in Milan. He really proved his worth in Champions League

2) Ronaldo - He has done very well for manchester this year. Especially as he doesn't dive as often as he used to.

3) Ruud/Totti - both has scored lots of goals this year, so it's really hard to decide.

Ronaldinho as 4. Despite all the critics etc against him, he still managed to score 21 goals.

well, make your own top 3 then :p i'll bet it will look something like this:

1) Drogba
2) Lampard
3) Essien

Am I right? :D

The thing is - every fucking player cant be on a top 3.

well, i only watch the premiership so, i shall pick my top 3 from there.

1) essien - because he not only excelled in his natural position, but came through for the team on so many different occassions in different positions and was consistently outstanding. scored some very important goals and made some equally important passes, not to mention his defensive work. stunning season for him.

2) ronaldo - really went from a promising young player to one of the most exciting footballers i've ever seen this season. cut out all the bad parts of his game and improved the good parts.

3) berbatov - instant adaptation to the premiership, scored many important and awesome goals. great player.

Yes but how many shots did Mr row Z have? :p

For me it has to be Ronaldo, faced up to so much hate from England fans and got on with it, no matter how much of a cock i think he is he is by far the best player in his position in the world

my players of the year are:

micheal owen (those 5 minutes he played were awsome)

harry kewell (those 10 minutes he played were even better)

and steve morison who's 87 minute goal saw the mighty stevenage boro win the first ever trophy at the new wembley again kiddeminster 2-0 down at half time 3-2 winners overall (also he got like 34 goals in all competitions last year so i heard chelsea put in a bid)

No contest for England, it was Ronaldo by a country mile.

Spain, Van Nistelrooy again by a country mile, it was his goals that turned around Madrid's season, Raul and Robinho were useless at times.

Italy, I would have to say Totti, it wasn't spectacular but it was a very impressive season.

Honestly? I think the bloke is overrated, great player but not a chance he is the best in the world right now. He wouldn't be fit to lace the boots of Zidane in his prime.

i'm not his biggest fan but i think beckham desverves a mention, after the shabbles of the world cup, getting dumped by the tit in charge of england and the Real manager, to come thro it all with a 500k a week contract, win the la liga (which he played a massive part in) and get his england call up shows a lot of professionalism

Ronaldo for me he's stepped his game up and become the world's best player (IMO,) at an incredible age, imagine if this guy keeps on developing!

3) Per Nielsen! Great defender and has had an absolutely amazing year! He has contributed to the 6th place that Brøndby IF got this year!

2) Kim Daugaard! Who else? This 33y old midfielder has really showed great sportsmanship playing the last five minutes of every 3rd game for Brøndby IF! Shame no german clubs bought this great guy as they really seem to fancy having danes warming up their benches!

1) Ruben Bagger! Back from an injury after about 3-5years or so and ofcourse scores in his return match! He really is the heart and soul of the mighty club Brøndby IF and he has promised that they will finish in atleast top8 next year! That's the spirit Ruben!!

Sjette pladsen kommer hjem!! :worthy:
